Just a few cute pictures

Ever since I got pregnant I haven't wanted to do anything. I have been really sick and lazy. Poor Braxton has barely gotten out of the house the last 5 weeks. I am hoping that soon I will start to feel better. Braxton has really started to like everything disney. He could watch cars all day if I let him and lately with me being sick he has been. He loves Mickey Mouse and we are hoping soon that we will be able to take him to Disney Land. Here are some pictures that I really like

Chuck E Cheese

My son is basically scared of EVERYTHING especially rides. However, recently he has loved the rides they have at walmarts fun center. We had some tokens left over from braxtons party at Chuck E Cheese so we decided to take Braxton there last night. I was convinced that he would have a great time. As soon as we walked in he started crying. I think he was scared of all the noise and people. We put him in a big truck and put in a token. He was fine for maybe a second and then when it started moving from side to side he screamed. We tried to show him it was fun but he wasn't having any part of it. So we wasted a few more tokens trying to get him to go on some rides. He just kept saying "seat" (which means his car seat) and running for the door. So after being there maybe 5 minutes we went home. I hope he gets over being scared of everything soon. Its hard to do anything fun!

Ryans New Toy

Ryan got a new gun that can shoot lead bullets so he decided to cast his own. Here is a picture of some of the ingots he made from wheel weights. The electric furnace he used to melt the wheel weights made everything smell and smoke really bad so he can only do a couple at a time.

New potty and Hair cut.

For the past week, every time we put Braxton down for a nap he takes off his pants and diaper and poops on the floor. I have no idea what to do about it. I decided maybe he was ready to start potty training. So yesterday we went to walmart and bought him a potty. He hasn't stopped talking about his potty since we bought it so hopefully that is a good sign. I know that it will probably take a long time to potty train him. Especially since he is so stubborn.

We tried it out this morning but he wouldn't let me take his diaper off.

Today we took Braxton to Cookie Cutters for a hair cut. We usually have Ashley cut his hair but I wanted to try this place out. I was worried because cutting Braxtons hair is never an easy task but he did great. They let you choose a movie and a car to sit in. They also had bubbles at the station he was at. He loved it. He had a big smile on his face the whole time. I will definitely be taking Braxton back there in the future.

PCOS

Ryan and I have been trying to get pregnant for a little while now and it hasnt been working. I haven't had a period in over a year so I wasn't ovulating. I recently went to the doctor and found out I have PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) I don't know exactly what it means but the symptoms are: weight gain, abnormal periods, infertility, and testosterone. I was so happy they had finally figured out what was wrong with me. I have always had these symptoms and no doctor ever would take the time to figure it out. So Dr. Jones gave me some metformin (Its a diabetic medicine but don't worry I don't have diabetes), a pill to help me start my period, and a pill to help me ovulate. After I start my period I take the pill to help me ovulate and then on the 21st day of my cycle I go get my blood drawn to make sure I ovulated. So we are hoping that within a couple months we will be pregnant. Wish us luck!

vinyl fun

For Christmas my mom, Ashley, and I got a cricut. I have been wanting to put vinyl up but wanted to wait until we moved. Last week we were finally able to move into a cute little apartment. Once we were settled in I got started putting up vinyl.

This is in Braxton's room

This is in the laundry room.
I still need to put something in my living room and bedroom but I can't think of anything cute. If you have any ideas please leave me a comment :)
On a different note, Braxton learned what a bird says and I thought it was really cute!

Happy Birthday Braxton!

We celebrated Braxtons birthday all week long. We went to Chuck E Cheese with Ryans family. Poor Ryan slaved all day to make a cake for Braxton. It was gonna be so cute. When we were in the parking lot I dropped the cake. I was so sad. Braxton had been wanting the cake all day and was so excited that he would get to eat it soon. I felt like a horrible mother! Once we were inside and he saw all the kids playing I don't think he even thought about the cake.

So we ate pizza, played games, and then it was time to open presents. Emily and Scott gave him Mr.Potato Head and he loves it. Scott and Heidi gave him an alien action figure that reminds Ryan of Emperor Zurg from Toy Story. Grandma and Grandpa Walker gave Braxton a Smart Cycle and games to go with it.

He cant figure out how to peddle yet but I am sure the more he pratices the more he will get it.

We decorated the house for his birthday. He loved all the balloons and streamers. That only held his attention for one second and then he saw his basketball hoop and he hasn't stopped playing with it since.

We had a dinner for my side of the family. I made the mistake of having cake before presents. All he wanted to do was play with the figurines that were on his cake.

He got a lot of great presents from my family including this table from my mom. Braxton loves this table. We dont let him eat on it yet because he likes to throw his food all over the living room.

This is a picture of Braxton with his first $50. Grandpa and Grandma Little sent it to him. We had a fun week with Braxton and I cant believe my baby is already 2.

Las Vegas

A few weeks ago we went to visit Heidi and her family in Las Vegas. Braxton was good on the ride down except for the last half hour. As soon as we got there Meghan and Claire were super excited and had to show me everything in their house. It was so cute and funny.

The first day we went swimming. Braxton HATES swimming and it took him about 40 minutes to finally warm up to the idea. After swimming we went and got a ice cream at Ben and Jerrys. It was free ice cream day and members from Thunder from Down Under were there scooping ice cream. It was great!

Getting Braxton to sleep anywhere but his bed was VERY DIFFICULT. After 2 hours we were able to get him to fall asleep. He slept in Claires bed until about 4. He woke up scared and screaming. He screamed for a good 10 minutes (sorry Scott and Heidi) He ended up sleeping with us the rest of the night and the next night.

Braxton loved playing in their backyard. He especially liked their trampoline. Hopefully someday we can get him one. He also like throwing rocks down the slide. Thanks Heidi for letting us come and stay it was really fun.

Easter Egg Hunt

Today Ryan and I took Braxton to the Provo Maceys to meet the Easter Bunny. I wasn't sure how Braxton would react but I thought it would hopefully be something fun we could go do. There were 9 different places throughout the store that you went to get an easter egg. After we went to three stations we went to meet the easter bunny. Braxton got his face painted and they made him bunny ears. Braxton wasnt to sure about the Easter Bunny but he sat in his lap long enough for us to get pictures. Braxton had a lot of fun getting candy. Anyone who knows Braxton knows how much he LOVES chocolate or sweets of any kind.

Ashleys Bridal Shower

My Grandma Steele and I threw Ashley a bridal shower this weekend. The first game we played was called wedding dress. They had to make a wedding dress out of three rolls of toilet paper and some tape. Then Ashley chose the best one. The winner was Annas team!

The next game we played Ashley had to answer 27 questions about Jordan. If she got it wrong she had to have a piece of gum. If she got it right she got a bag. The bag either had a prize in it or gum. Lets just say she had a lot of gum in her mouth by the end.

We had ice cream sandwiches for refreshments. Braxton really like them. I would really like to thank my mother in law for letting us have the shower at her house. I am REALLY sorry that Braxton got gum in your carpet. Thank goodness for goo gone!

Mom and Braxton

Braxtons birthday is in about a month and with Ashleys wedding two days before his birthday I decided I needed to start planning a little bit early. Braxton loves YO GABBA GABBA and I thought it would be fun to have a YO GABBA GABBA party. So I went to Party Land and Zurchers to see if I could find anything. Animal Ark is right next to Party Land and Braxton loves puppies so we went in to see what we could find. He LOVED looking at the puppies, rats, rabbits, and fish. He even kissed one of the puppies through the glass. We were in there for about fifteen minutes and it was really hard getting him to leave.

I wasn't able to find anything at partyland so we headed to Zurchers. Braxton was being so good that I bought him a balloon.

After we couldn't find anything at Zurchers we headed to Target. As soon as we walked in to Target Braxton said "eat drink". So we got a pretzel and some rootbeer. Once he had those two things he was good to go shopping. I wasn't able to find any Yo GABBA GABBA party favors but luckily I can get them on the internet. I was so concentrated on finding the party favors that I forgot to go the mall and get Braxton a belt. Poor guy!

We ended the day off by going to Walmart. I bought Braxton a YO GABBA GABBA kite. He really loves it. It was really fun to spend the day with Braxton. He is so funny and I love him so much.

Braxton walking Zoey

This video is a couple of weeks old but I love it. We took Braxton and Zoey to the park and Braxton wanted to hold Zoey's leash. It was so cute!

yogurt

Braxton has REALLY loved yogurt lately. It seems like that is all he wants to eat. He is still learning how to use his spoon. So most of the time the yogurt ends up all over his shirt. Needless to say we have went through a lot of Braxton clothes lately.

Sweet and Sour Chicken?

On Tuesday Braxton and I went to Nephi with my mom and Ashley. On the way we stopped in Payson to eat at Hunan City. For an appetizer my mom ordered some deep fried buns. They are basically donuts. Braxton had some ketchup and decided to cover his donut in ketchup. It was so gross. It really looked like sweet and sour chicken.

I got him skewered chicken and fries for his lunch. Instead of eating all he wanted to do was dip his fries in the ketchup. Within a matter of minutes he had ketchup all over his forehead, table, his clothes, the top of his head, and the back of his head. He was so dirty. We all got a good laugh though.

Fun at McDonalds

Today we took Braxton to Mcdonalds in provo. He usually isnt really into playing at playplaces but he LOVED this one. There was on old man there with his grandchildren and Braxton really liked following him around. The man even played basketball with him. It was really cute!
