PCOS
Ryan and I have been trying to get pregnant for a little while now and it hasnt been working. I haven't had a period in over a year so I wasn't ovulating. I recently went to the doctor and found out I have PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) I don't know exactly what it means but the symptoms are: weight gain,abnormal periods, infertility, and testosterone. I was so happy they had finally figured out what was wrong with me. I have always had these symptoms and no doctor ever would take the time to figure it out. So Dr. Jones gave me some metformin (Its a diabetic medicine but don't worry I don't have diabetes), a pill to help me start my period, and a pill to help me ovulate. After I start my period I take the pill to help me ovulate and then on the 21st day of my cycle I go get my blood drawn to make sure I ovulated. So we are hoping that within a couple months we will be pregnant. Wish us luck!

oh no! sorry to hear that but happy to hear that you have a fabulous dr now who's helping you! my ob when i had rian was dr. jones (maybe the same? he was young looking & shaved head-totally awesome!) & he's the best guy around!! good luck & i'll keep my fingers crossed :)
Glad you were able to find out what's going on with you. I wish you guys luck in getting pregnant, we'd love more little cousins running around!
